CHEER REGISTRATION LINK
CAMP, REGULAR SEASON AND POST-SEASON REGISTRATION
Register for the 2023 Fall Cheer Season and Camp HERE
ZYFL Cheer utilizes one registration form camp, regular season and post-season. Review the costs below.
Please note registration closes on June 15 to ensure the earliest possible delivery date for uniforms.
Important Note for Rising 4th-6th Graders: 4th-6th Grade Cheer Camp is mandatory this year. We will be spending the first day of camp hosting a Varsity UCA Home Camp. The cheerleaders will learn from UCA Instructors stunting, sideline cheers and chants, jumping technique and other game day material. The remainder of the week will be spent learning the pom routine and rehearsing all new material from UCA camp. Specific times and locations will be announced soon.
UNIFORMS
All cheerleaders are required to have proper equipment for the season. This includes:
- Shell (Top)
- Skirt
- Briefs
- Bow
- Socks
- Poms
- Cheer Shoes
The same uniform design will be used for the 2023 season that was used during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. This is planned to be the final year for this uniform design.
Returning cheerleaders are not required to purchase a new shell or top so long as their uniform is the correct version, fits appropriately and is in good condition (free of stains, tears and/or holes).
New cheerleaders must purchase all uniform elements.
All cheerleaders are required to purchase the base uniform package, including briefs, bow, socks and poms.
Uniform fittings will occur June 1 and June 14. New cheerleaders or returning cheerleaders purchasing a new shell or skirt must attend ONE fitting. A Varsity representative will be present to assist. Varsity collects sizes using an app. The adult accompanying the cheerleader to the fitting should be prepared to submit size selections in this manner. Additional information will be sent prior to fittings.
ZYFL spirit wear and cheer shoes will also be available during fittings to order from Varsity. Payment will be collected via a link sent at a later date. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in your additional spirit wear/cheer shoes order being canceled.
ZYFL will also collect sizes for the briefs and socks during the fittings. Returning cheerleaders not attending a fitting must submit their sizes to the Cheerleading Director prior to June 14. An email and reminder will be sent to those registered.
White cheer shoes must be purchased prior to camp. Parents/guardians are responsible for this purchase. Cheer shoes can be purchased online, locally or from Varsity. Cheerleaders who do not have appropriate cheer shoes may be asked to sit out during certain activities.
